Terms & Conditions

Learn about booking policies, travel guarantees, and service conditions applicable to all our tours across Turkey.

Last updated: September 15, 2026
Licensed TURSAB Tour Operator All our circuits operate strictly under the regulations of Turkey's Ministry of Culture and Tourism, ensuring authorized transportation, certified guides, and comprehensive security.
01

Scope of Application and Organization

These terms govern the purchase of tourism services, travel packages, guided excursions, and circuits marketed by Go to Turkey, operating with full registration and accreditation from the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TURSAB) with support offices in Mexico City and Istanbul. By confirming any booking, the client expressly accepts all of these provisions in full.

02

Bookings, Deposits, and Payment Methods

To secure a spot on any tour or circuit, a deposit of 20% of the total price is required at the time of booking. This deposit guarantees the agreed rate, reserves domestic internal flights, and secures availability at selected hotels.

  • The remaining 80% balance may be settled up to 15 days before the tour start date or in pre-agreed installments.
  • We accept major international credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX), wire transfers, and online payments secured by 256-bit SSL encryption.
  • Once the deposit is completed, an official voucher is issued containing full day-by-day itineraries, 24/7 emergency contacts, and confirmed hotel vouchers.
03

Hot Air Balloon Flight in Cappadocia

The hot air balloon excursion is strictly subject to weather conditions and daily clearance granted by the Turkish Directorate General of Civil Aviation (SHGM) to safeguard passenger safety.

In the event flights are cancelled by civil aviation due to wind gusts, rain, or fog: • Every effort will be made to reschedule for the subsequent morning, subject to tour schedule flexibility. • If flight operations cannot resume during your stay, a 100% full refund of the balloon excursion fee is promptly processed with zero penalty.

05

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policies

We understand unexpected situations arise. Cancellation or date-change requests must be submitted in writing to info@gototurkey.com.mx:

  • Up to 30 days prior to departure: Cancellation eligible for full refund minus non-refundable domestic airfares already ticketed with local carriers.
  • Between 29 and 15 days prior to departure: 30% cancellation fee, or the option to reschedule your journey date at no cost for up to 12 months.
  • Under 14 days before departure or No Show: 100% cancellation fee due to pre-committed hotel reservations and dedicated transport vehicles.
06

Travel Documents, Passports, and Visas

It is the sole responsibility of each passenger to carry a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of arrival in Turkey and containing at least one blank page. Depending on your nationality, an electronic Turkish visa (e-Visa) may be required. Our team provides complimentary guidance and support for this procedure.

07

Travel Insurance and Civil Liability

All ground transfers and organized activities across Turkish territory carry mandatory commercial liability coverage as required by law and TURSAB regulations. Nevertheless, we strongly urge every traveler to acquire a comprehensive international medical insurance policy covering overseas illness, accidents, and medical repatriation.

08

Jurisdiction and Governing Law

For any dispute arising from the interpretation or delivery of services described herein, the parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction and applicable courts of Mexico City for commercial contracting across Latin America, and to Turkish legal frameworks under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism for on-the-ground service delivery.
